Service Description:

This raster layer contains a hillshade generated from the Peatlands Park LiDAR-derived Digital Terrain Model (DTM). Hillshading simulates illumination from an artificial light source, creating a three-dimensional representation of the terrain surface and improving visualisation of subtle topographic features.

The hillshade is intended for visual interpretation only and does not contain queryable elevation values. For terrain elevation information, refer to the accompanying Elevation Points feature layer, which provides interactive spot-height values derived from the source DTM.
